Flags are available in either Nylite or Durapoly. For prolonged outdoor use and image quality, Nylite is recommended. Durapoly is an economical alternative to Nylon. Nylite offers superior image quality and the highest strength-to-weight ratio, meaning the flag is strong enough to last and light enough to fly.
Colour accuracy and consistency is ensured by producing flags with reactive acid dyes for maximum durability and brilliance. Try to select darker colours so that it is more resistant to fade. Colour match using Pantone colours for the best colour accuracy through digital screen print.
Flags are often flown at height and seen from distances. Hence, the most effective designs are simple and bold. Using contrasting colours also helps to enhance a flag’s visual impact. Include: Vector art provides crisp, quality prints to maintain an image’s resolution.
Flags are double needle lock-stitched with a reinforced stitching at the fly-end. The header of the flag can be either be finished with Rope and Toggle, Grommets or an Open Sleeve.
As a general rule, the length of the flag should be at least 1/4 of the flagpole height. Most residential wall mount flags are:

Small industrial or commercial buildings generally fly a 72” x 36” flag on an 8 ft. wall mount pole.

The following suggestions will assist you in obtaining full value from your flag:
• Where possible, a flag should be taken down every night.
• If soiled a flag may be safely hand washed in cold water, using any domestic soap or detergent that does not contain bleach and then spread out to dry – either towel dry or air dry .
• When a flag is wet, it is heavier and adds more weight that stresses the fibers of the material.
• If slightly frayed or torn, a flag should be repaired at once, it could help save the cost of a new flag.
• Never store a wet or damp flag, spread it out until dry .
No flag should be raised higher than the National Flag. All other flags should be flown at the same height.
• When two or more than three flags are flown together, the National flag should be on the left, as seen by spectators. Whenever three flags are flown the National flag should be in the middle.
• When crossed with another flag, the National Flag is on the flag’s right (reader’s left) with the staff over that of the other flag (Insert image) .
• When provincial and territorial flags are flown or displayed along a wall, placement is based on the date of entry into Confederation of the provinces and territories. In a grouping of flags that includes the National Flag of Canada and all of the flags of the provinces and territories, the order of precedence is:
